To paraphrase Douglas Admas, Singapore’s Changi Airport is big. Really big. Which also means there’s a lot to do to while away the hours between connecting flights.

Such as wandering through the butterfly enclosure. I stepped from the artic air-conditioning of the airport into the tropical humidity of the enclosure and was immediately surrounded by hundreds of butterflies.

Such beautiful, gentle creatures, unperturbed by the tourists walking through their home.
